PECS was responsible for the design of the Pontão Marítimo board structure to be installed in front of the Porto Santo diving center. The structure of the board, capitals of support on the pillars and stairs to access the coffin are included in this project. The pillars, foundations and box at the end of the pontoon are part of a specific project for maritime works.
In addition to the development of the projects, he was also responsible for their coordination and for monitoring the respective administrative licenses.
Description
The structure of the board consists of a metal grid supported by reinforced concrete capitals, supported by reinforced concrete pillars. The recommended structural solutions were studied in order to seek the best durability and maintenance / cost binomial.
Thus the board structure is made up of HEB450 main metal profiles, and HEB160 and HEB140 secondary profiles. The profiles are simply supported on the pillar capitals. The Pontoon floor consists of a wooden slat suitable for the aggressive conditions of the surrounding environment.
